The Pool House At Savory Life Ranch is a peaceful Texas Hill Country retreat. It is a refuge for the weary; a place where you can let all your cares and worries melt away at the gate. At 1.5 miles from the paved road, our little oasis offers peace and tranquility - the kind of place where you can rest as much as you like but also be close to all that the Hill Country has to offer.
We’re far enough from the city to feel like you’re truly in a hidden paradise. To get here you’ll travel through working cattle ranches on a private road that is dusty in the dry season, muddy in the wet season, and full of just enough potholes to make you take it slow and easy.

Some of our favorite things about life at the ranch are the seasonal wildflowers, abundant wildlife, breathtaking sunsets, and stargazing on crystal clear nights. When we’re here we want to be here, present in the moment, taking in the beautiful views, and basking in the quiet solitude away from it all.
Whether bird watching while sipping your morning coffee on the patio, soaking in the pool during the heat of the day, or taking in the sunset with a glass of your favorite wine, you will be immersed in a tidal wave of peaceful relaxation!
Even though the Pool House is tucked away in the heart of Oatmeal, it’s close enough to have easy access to Austin, Fredericksburg, and Texas Wine Country. We are also close to some of the most beautiful wedding venues in Central Texas including Shooting Star Ranch and Twisted Ranch, making us the perfect destination for wedding guests.
